The Bihar Board Class 10 Results 2018 are scheduled to be announced tomorrow, June 20 by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).
However, the fate of over 17.70 lakh Bihar Class 10 Board students is at stake as over 40,000 answer sheets have gone missing from SS Balika Inter School in Gopalganj district of Bihar.
It is likely that the results might be delayed due to the missing answer scripts issue.
This year, the Bihar Board Class 10 exam 2018 was held from February 21 to February 29 at 1,426 centres across the state.
More on BSEB Class 10 missing answer sheets
As per reports, 213 bags containing answer sheets of Class 10 Examinations have gone missing from the school.
“About 10,000 answer sheets are not traceable but on the other hand, some of the reports have been suggesting the number has increased to 42,000 till now,” as reported by Times Now.

In this case, Chhathu Singh, a school official, and Asapujan Singh, a security guard, have been arrested.
Verification of copies
On June 15, the BSEB officials had asked for two copies of each subject for verification purposes from the school. As reported by leading media daily, the copies were checked and kept in the strong room.
This incident has raised a question on the security arrangements by the Bihar board authorities.
Rechecking of Class 10 toppers answer sheets:
On June 16, BSEB reviewed the answer sheets of the top 25 students
Soon after examining the copy of these toppers, next day the board officials had asked its students for physical verification.
Bihar Board Class 12 results
Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the intermediate or Class 12 Results 2018 on June 6.
This year, Kalpana Kumari topped the Bihar board intermediate examination with 434 marks out of 500. Moreover, she has also bagged 1st rank in NEET 2018.
40/35 marks in Bihar Board Class 12 results
Students of the recently released 12th Board results, students have scored higher marks than the total marks, while some complained that they got marks in papers that they never appeared for.
One of the candidates, Bhim Kumar from Arwal district got 38 out of the total 35 marks in mathematics (theory) and 37 out of 35 in the Bihar Board Maths objective-type questions, TOI reported.

- Fill in your roll number and other details in the prescribed format
- On submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen
- Download the same and take print out of the same for future use
Bihar Board topper scam
In 2016, Ruby Rai, the class 12 humanities topper, who was accused of cheating in board exam, was arrested by Police as she failed to answer questions in a re-exam conducted by an expert committee of the Bihar School Examination Board.
She had scored 444 out of 500 marks in the Class 12 exam with arts stream, however, while replying to a question of Aaj Tak, the topper said, “Political Science is all about cooking”, and pronounced ‘Political Science’ as ‘Prodigal Science’.
In 2017, the state’s Arts topper Ganesh Kumar was arrested on charges of forgery of documents. Ganesh secured 65 out of 70 marks in the practical examinations of Music and 18 out of 30 in the theory.
He secured 92 marks out of 100 in Hindi. Ganesh’s academic prowess came into question after he failed to answer basic questions related to the subjects in which he secured the highest mark.
